Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Amy Smart was raised in California, USA. Amy Smart started the modeling profession in Italy. She made her acting debut in 1996, when she appeared in her debut in the TV production Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight her way to a role, she got a chance in the 'Starship Troopers' series starring in Starship Troopers. The transition was difficult for Amy since she needed transition from modelling to performing. Models aren't regarded as the best actors, so they usually get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy then moved into leading roles in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than ten years struggling. She then went on to work in many of the greatest movies, including the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she played an enduring character.
