Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter in honor of her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. When Ryder was just seven years old, her family moved from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder was a voracious reading book because there was television. Ryder, then 12, enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. In 1986 she landed her first big-screen role in the movie Lucas when she was just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress would bring about change. Unfortunately that didn't come to be. But she continued to chase her goals. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder continued to play success in roles. In 1993 she won an Oscar Award in the film The Age of Innocence.
